I’m often hired to engage audiences on subjects including (but not limited to): the role of food in cultural identity, storytelling as a tool for connection, our ties to the land, navigating self-expression as people of color in predominantly white spaces, cultural preservation, We All Cousins, etc. Venues include research and educational institutions, cultural and tech conferences, art and literature festivals, community events, and more.

To Facilitate Workshops and Moderate Panels
Workshop facilitation is available digitally and in-person for middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, corporate/university employees, and everyday grown folk. Past topics have included: Oral History and Storytelling, Creative Writing for Self-Expression, Memoir Writing, Bio Writing, The Art of Public Speaking, Archiving Cultural Inheritances, Mindfulness and Reflection, Healing through Sankofa, etc.
